Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026

What information we collect when you use our website or book sessions, and how we protect it.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "Bloom with Lianne" mean Mercor America LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company trading as Bloom with Lianne. "You" means the parent or legal guardian who uses our website or books sessions. "Your child" means the student who attends them. Sessions are taught by Lianne Johnston, a UK qualified teacher (QTS and PGCE).

What we collect

  • From you: your name, email address, phone number if you share it, time zone and booking details.
  • About your child, provided by you: first name, age, school year and any learning information you choose to share, such as reports, an IEP or a 504 plan.
  • During our work: session notes, learning plans and progress reports.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of your card, never the full number.
  • Website use: pages visited, device and browser type and how you found us, collected with cookies (see below).

Children's privacy

We collect information about children only from their parent or guardian, and only to teach them. We do not ask children to create accounts or submit personal information to our website. If you believe a child has sent us personal information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

How we use information

  • To schedule and deliver sessions and plan your child's learning.
  • To send session notes, reminders and important updates.
  • To process payments and keep business and tax records.
  • To understand how visitors find and use our website, and to measure our advertising.

We do not sell personal information, and we never use your child's information for advertising.

Services we use

We share information only with providers that help us run the service: Calendly (booking), Stripe (payments), Zoom or Google Meet (video sessions), Google Workspace or similar (email and documents), and Google Analytics and Google Ads (website measurement). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies from Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand visits and measure which advertising works. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The website still works without them.

Where information is stored

Our providers may store data in the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Union. Lianne teaches from Spain, so session information is accessed from there. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep it secure.

How long we keep it

We keep session notes and learning records for up to two years after our last session, so we can support you if you return. We keep payment records for as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your information earlier, unless we must keep it by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your child, or ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. Residents of some US states, the UK and the EU have additional rights under local law, and we honour them. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page.
